ELEMENT 22 performance Titanium sump drain bolts are manufactured from grade 5 Titanium Ti-6AL-4V and are suitable to replace both grade 5 and grade 8 steel bolts,
We have them machined to incorporate a magnet at the tip which is designed to capture any particles or metal shaving that may be present as a result of general wear and tear in your motor. This magnetised steel stud will help protect your engine. Once the titanium drain/sump bolt has been machined, the bolt head is drilled to enable lock wiring if required as an additional safety mechanism in the event the bolt may become loose.
